Prepares for Systems Conversion, July 22-23

GETTYSBURG, PA, July 19, 2017 — As of July 1, 2017, New Windsor State Bank is now NWSB Bank, a division of ACNB Bank, based in Gettysburg, PA. Tom N. Rasmussen, former President & Chief Executive Officer of New Windsor Bancorp, Inc. and New Windsor State Bank, became Executive Vice President of ACNB Bank and Market President of NWSB Bank.

“I am pleased to join an organization like ACNB Bank that has such a solid reputation of service to the community for more than 160 years, and an already strong position in the adjacent market of southcentral Pennsylvania,” said Tom N. Rasmussen, NWSB Bank Market President. “NWSB Bank continues to operate in Carroll County, MD, with the kind of personal service and commitment customers enjoy from a community bank, but now with the backing of a financial services company with $1.6 billion in assets.”

Preparations are underway for the systems conversion that will take place this weekend, July 22 to 23. The seven NWSB Bank retail banking offices will be closed for business on Saturday, July 22, and will reopen on Monday, July 24, with normal banking hours. Online banking, mobile banking and telephone banking will be temporarily unavailable over the weekend as well. The Bank’s new website, www.nwsbbank.com, will be unveiled on Monday, July 24, and customers will be able to access the enhanced online banking and mobile banking services at that time.

With many local residents driving across the Maryland and Pennsylvania border on a regular basis, the systems conversion will enable customers from both NWSB Bank and ACNB Bank to conduct their banking business at offices of either brand in Maryland and Pennsylvania.

According to ACNB Bank President & Chief Executive Officer James P. Helt, “Beginning Monday, July 24, NWSB Bank customers will experience the many benefits of the partnership with ACNB Bank — including greater convenience with 29 retail banking offices in Maryland and Pennsylvania, a broader selection of products and services, enhanced online banking and mobile banking services, and strong banking and information security technology.”

“Importantly, customers are being greeted by the same familiar faces they are accustomed to seeing at NWSB Bank,” continued Mr. Helt. “With NWSB Bank now a division of ACNB Bank, we plan to continue our vision of building relationships and finding solutions for our customers in the Maryland market — creating an even stronger community bank for future generations.”
